The same movement does not necessarily produce the same relationship for every body. Ten friends entering together do not inhabit proximity in the same way as ten strangers. A person seeking closeness does not encounter a contracting boundary in the same way as someone seeking distance. These differences are precisely among the qualities that disappear when bodily presence becomes a count. The system cannot know them in advance.

Neither can I.
